Promotion as Fabriik appoints new chief people officer

Global financial services firm Fabriik has promoted its vice president, people and culture, Katja Ash to chief people officer.

Ash, who joined the business in 2019 and was promoted last month (October), was formerly vice president, human resources and operations, at Canadian law firm Hummingbird Lawyers. She will lead on people issues across Fabriik’s teams in 10 countries, including the UK.

Ash said: “I am thrilled to be working in a global role for a truly global company. The global nature of our business allows us to embrace diversity and foster inclusion inside and outside of our Fabriik walls.”

She explained that the organisation is working in unison to “make the world a better place by creating financial inclusion for everybody, not just the wealthy”.

“That’s a mission I am proud to contribute to through this role,” Ash added.

The move accompanies a number of promotions and new appointments to the Fabriik leadership team, and chief executive Roy Bernhard said: “As our customer base and product offerings continue to grow, we inevitably need to expand our leadership team and make sure we are supplying an outstanding experience to our clients. We are delighted to announce these promotions.”
