Your support can make all the difference

Every day we aspire towards greater financial wellbeing for the UK, and engage with people of all ages and at all stages to see this coming about. However, we know there is much more that needs to be done and many more people in whose lives we can make a difference. As a national charity, we are completely reliant on support of all sizes to make what we do possible, without it we could achieve very little, with it we can take our work so much further.

The Money Charity is supported by a range of valued sources, including organisations and companies who partner with us on multiple projects, trusts and foundation, and individuals who give regularly. We rely on all of these to keep the charity running and are hugely grateful to them all for the difference they make as we help people to manage their money well.

We would love to do more though. We are always keen to develop new relationships and engage new people with what we are doing, and are never short of ideas just waiting for the resources to turn them into reality!

Supporters are the lifeblood of any charity, and make all the difference. Generous support enables us to offer free workshops to community groups who have little funding spare. It subsidises our resources so we can offer these to people who need them the most at no charge. It keeps our workshops as a free offering for schools and colleges, particularly those in disadvantaged areas, where we know that funding is already such a challenge, helping us to reach the most young people with these essential messages as possible.

There are of course many other ways in which you can work with us to support what we do, even just registering an interest in what we do, by subscribing to our monthly Money Statistics report, or our Newsletter, helps us keep you up to date on our work, and spreads the word about financial wellbeing.

But as “The Money Charity”, we pride ourselves on not being afraid to talk about money, and it is donations, of any size, which truly help us to achieve more and take our work further. For example, £50 could help distribute 500 copies of our Student Money Manual to young people going to university. £200 could provide a class of 30 students with one of our interactive and engaging Money Workshops. £500 could allow us to attend a local community or workplace event where we can distribute free resources and gather new bookings and clients. And a £1,000 donation could offer a whole year group a series of five workshops.

Those are just a few options, but we have plenty more just waiting for the partnerships and support which could help make them happen. Could you be someone who helps make that happen, through a one-off donation, a regular gift, a fundraiser or sponsored event? If you would like to join us and help make a real difference, whether as an individual, with a group or as a corporate, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us on [email protected] or 0207 062 8933.
