AvePoint, which provides data management solutions for Microsoft 365, has hired Stuart Robertson as its first-ever chief people officer.

In his new role, Robertson will oversee talent, organisational scaling and employee experience and performance.

Robertson, who joins AvePoint as it prepares to list as a public company on NASDAQ, brings more than 20 years of experience in HR leadership, specialising in talent management and leadership development. Prior to joining AvePoint, Robertson was senior vice president of HR for Richemont Americas where he oversaw its people and culture programmes, including a successful digital transformation, resilient pandemic adaptation and talent mobility.

Commenting on his appointment, Robertson said: “I am excited to lead our talent and growth strategy, in partnership with an exceptional leadership team, with whom I feel a strong alignment on values and priorities.”

Robertson will also spearhead initiatives to enhance the employee experience and evolve talent within AvePoint as the organisation intensifies its focus on product innovation and global expansion.

He added that as the business expands its global footprint and works towards ambitious business objectives, Robertson’s expertise will “help take us to the next level”.
