Confluent hires global chief people officer

Data streaming platform Confluent has appointed Gunjan Aggarwal global chief people officer as of this month (April).

Aggarwal will lead the people and places function for the business, including talent acquisition and development, organisation effectiveness, rewards and recognition, people operations, culture and inclusion, real estate and workplace experience.

Aggarwal, who has worked in the industry for 20 years, joins from cloud-based communication services firm RingCentral, where she most recently served as executive vice president and as its first chief people officer. Prior to this, she was chief HR officer at book publishing business RELX Group.
