The survey achievement follows the company’s reaccreditation by Investors in People in 2012, on the 10th anniversary of its first endorsement.
Commenting in the report, the Investors in People assessor said: “Staff loyalty and dedication to customers is second to none.” It also highlighted the fact that Health Shield employees expressed considerable job satisfaction in serving the organisation’s members well. Overall, the summary concluded that Health Shield is a “most excellent” company to work for.
The Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For survey is based on the views of employees, as well as the policies and processes put in place by employers.
The survey identifies best practice and ranks companies on eight key performance indicators. These include: staff engagement, including leadership, personal growth and how happy the workforce is with its pay and benefits.
