BHSF Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Dale, BSc, FCA, as chairman, succeeding Dr Paul Kanas who held the role from 2000 until his retirement at the end of 2015.
Jane is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience across life, pensions and general insurance. She spent 18 years with Legal & General Group, where she held a variety of financial roles and then spent 8 years as the Managing Director of the Group Protection business, followed by 3 years as the Managing Director of the General Insurance business, based in Birmingham. Subsequently she has been UK Country Manager for Genworth Financial, held senior interim roles at Shop Direct Group and Aviva and spent four years as Finance Director of AIG Life Limited, formerly Ageas Protect. Since 2009, Jane has been an independent non-executive director of British Gas Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Centrica.

Jane will bring high-level experience both to our two heavily-regulated companies and to our fast-growing OH division and we are looking forward enormously to her input to our exciting agenda.”
